17th June 2006

Location: Christchurch, New Zealand

After a short ferry ride from Wellington across the ravage cook strait, Mungo and Juls opened up their bikes to South Island tarmac and crisp fresh air. There was speculative talk of snow, however none came to fruition unlike Juls’ ride from Whakatane the previous week. After a start stop ride into Christchurch at dusk, due to Mungo deciding not to initiate his reserve tank, Phill met us with a beer at hand. We assessed the motorcycle crate situation and got stuck in to building them!

Once complete, we dropped the bikes off, one-by-one on Monday morning at the Airport ready to be carted to Lyttleton Port for a Friday Departure. Bike crate and shipping mission accepted and complete!
