Location: North Island, New Zealand

In the early days of trip planning Mungo and Phill put their newly aquired bikes to the test with an easter weekend mish. After meeting in Wellington (Phill came from Christchurch) the mission followed the Tasman sea around the coast to Wanganui to stay with the lovely Jones family for easter. The next day it was of to Stratford and along the "Forgotten Highway" to Taumaranui via a stop at the infamous Republic of Whagamonoma. From there the trip hit Ohakune for a night on the tiles, and then followed Wanganui river back to the coast. The mish ended in Wellington taking 3 days driving. Total trip distance (Christchurch return) = 1700 km

Total trip distance (Wellington return) = 1000 km
