Location: Whakatane, New Zealand

We had a wonderful farewell meal for all the crew members families the night before leaving Whakatane. The conversation was focused, the food was superb and the wine was excellent. Gear was strewn around the house as some of us were still sorting medical supplies and making final arrangements. After a little sleep we crammed the cars and headed to the City of Sails to collect some final documentary making equipment before our last hurrah (chur Des!) with friends. Thanks to Ripeka, Caroline, Emma, Gemma, Andrew and Aldous for your warm hospitality on our final night in New Zealand!
